Lucy In Blue is a new band from Iceland that plays music in a blend of the psychedelic and progressive rock of the 70's (Pink Floyd…). Creativity always goes hand in hand with inspiration and Lucy in Blue is clearly influenced and inspired by the great psychedelic progressive rock groups of the 70s. But that would not live up to the whole package alone: "The inspiration for our music is blowing in wind, constantly, under the sea, among the fish and nature, as blissful as morning sun. We aim to bring the primal nature out of people and help it reach harmonious equilibrium".

From the music inspired streets of Minneapolis, Minnesota comes the intoxicating sound of rock/industrial/goth you can dance too or if you like the pit, It works just as well for that. It’s an album that will suck you in and hold you close, while strangling you in the most comfortable way possible. YEAH, Its that good!!

Experimental ethnic fusion outfit based around the duo of Jean-François Gaël, Pierre Buffenoir, initially with Arcane V members: Philippe Gumplowicz and Youval Micenmacher, and others. Sonorhc (Chronos backwards) played a wide-ranging mixture of styles, covering all sorts of ancient and modern cultural elements, medieval, baroque, oriental, you name it, they mixed and matched, fused and collided, making unusual and original concoctions, resulting in three very different albums, and also Jean-François Gaël et Pierre Buffenoir - Portes D'Orient which was essentially Sonorhc although it didn't bear their name.

Excess was always the name of the game for Kirk, but so was the groove, and here on this three-sided double LP, groove is at the heart of everything… But the groove he moves through is one that is so large, so universal, deep, and serene, that it transcends all notions of commercialism versus innovation. Bottom line, even with the charming tape-recorded ramblings of his between tunes, this was his concept and it works like a voodoo charm. Here's one for the revisionists: This record jams.

With a title like Blood Guts & Pussy, an album cover which features three nude models drenched in animal blood, and song titles like "Let's Fuck," "Fuck You Up and Get High," "Motherfucker," and "Fuckhead," the Dwarves had obviously redirected their style since Horror Stories. Gone is the subtle suggestiveness of that album, replaced by explicit exploitation and genuinely disgusting humor. Of course, most won't find the Dwarves very humorous; it takes a sick mind to appreciate the Dwarves' celebration of statutory rape on "Let's Fuck" or vocalist Blag Jesus' anger at a girl afraid of AIDS on "SFVD." Thirteen songs full of general punk sloppiness and distortion performed in 14 minutes. (Note: Many pressings of the CD are missing the track "Fuckhead" and the bonus untitled "Bitch" track, although all versions of the CD have "Fuckhead" on the track list.)

The Magnificat was the very first work Bach composed after his appointment as Cantor of St. Thomas's School in Leipzig in 1723. We can imagine the care he lavished on the work that was to establish him in this new function. It was revised some years later: the key was changed to D major and the forces were considerably enlarged. This is the version in which one of Bach's most famous choral works has come down to us.
