When Leslie West passed away in December of 2020, he left behind a towering legacy of epic recordings that few rock guitarists can match. But there was more to West than great songs (although, to be sure, he created a ton of them); there was his brilliant, idiosyncratic sound, a gargantuan earth-mover that razed arenas and stadiums across the globe. More than just paralyzing tone, though, he also had a touch nobody could beat. Stinging, swooning and sensual melodies leapt from his fingertips - with a deft flick of his wrist, he sounded like a Delta bluesman had picked up a violin. These elements and more helped to make West one of the most significant, influential and irreplaceable guitarists of the rock era. 2015 release from the hard rock vocalist best known for his work with White Sister and Tattoo Rodeo. The album was produced and mixed by AOR/melodic rock legend Paul Sabu. After the death of his long-time friend and musical co-hort Rick Chadock, Dennis began writing on his own as a form of therapy, and in 2014 was reunited with Sabu, who also supplied the guitar work. DCD drew priceless encouragement from the multi-talented Sabu, whose bands have included Only Child, Silent Rage and Sabu. I is heavily influenced by the music of the late-1970s and '80s, mixing chunky grooves with radio-friendly melodies and drawing influence from DCD's favorite acts, including The Beatles, Bad Company, Journey, Steve Perry, John Waite, Styx and Toto.

Mozart, l'opéra rock ("Mozart, the rock opera") is a French musical with music by Dove Attia, Jean-Pierre Pilot, Olivier Schultheis, William Rousseau, Nicolas Luciani, Rodrigue Janois and François Castello, lyrics by Vincent Baguian and Patrice Guirao and a book by Attia and François Chouquet. The show is a dramatization of the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart beginning from the age of 17 and culminating with his death in 1791 at the age of 35. It uses both original pop-rock compositions as well as pre-existing music composed by Mozart and other composers, including Antonio Salieri.
