Guitarist Chris Duarte's Texas Sugar Strat Magik is an impressive debut album, showcasing his fiery, Stevie Ray Vaughan-derived blues-rock. As a songwriter, Duarte is still developing – he fails to come up with any memorable songs, although he does contribute several competent, unexceptional genre pieces – but as an instrumentalist, he's first-rate, spitting out solos with a blistering intensity or laying back with gentle, lyrical phrases. And that's what makes Texas Sugar Strat Magik a successful record – it's simply a great guitar album, full of exceptional playing.

Javier Vargas is a Spanish blues guitarist. Born in Madrid to Argentine parents who had emigrated to Spain from Buenos Aires, he founded the Vargas Blues Band in 1991, the year they released their first recording, All Around Blues. Since 1992, he has recorded on the Dro-Atlantic (Warner Music Group, Spain) label. He regularly tours Europe and Spain with his band and appeared at the 30th Anniversary Montreux Jazz Festival.

Good to Be Bad is the tenth studio album by Whitesnake released in April 2008. This is the first album of new studio material in a decade, since 1997's Restless Heart, not including the four new tracks recorded for the 2006 live album Live: In the Shadow of the Blues. The album charted at number 8 on the Top Independent albums, number 23 on the Top Canadian albums, number 62 on the Billboard 200 charts, and number 7 on the UK Albums Chart. After the release of the album, a tour began on 23 March 2008 in Wellington, New Zealand. The Australian concerts were followed by concerts in South America, Europe, Japan and North America.

Saga are a Canadian rock band, formed in Oakville, Ontario. Jim Crichton and Welsh-born vocalist Michael Sadler have been the principal songwriters for Saga. Ian Crichton is the band's guitarist; apart from his work with Saga, he has recorded several solo albums as well as sessions with Asia. Full Circle is a studio album by Saga, their thirteenth album of new material. This recording marks the begin of the second round of Chapters. Three of the songs, "Remember When (Chapter 9)", "Uncle Albert's Eyes (Chapter 13)" and "Not This Way (Chapter 10)," were part of a second series of eight songs that Saga included within some of their albums called "The Chapters," which told the story of a young Albert Einstein. These songs were also later included on The Chapters LIVE, an album that the band recorded in 2005. To date, there's been no official compilation of the chapters in their studio incarnation.

Vicious Rumors is the sole studio album from the R&B band Timex Social Club, released in 1986. It contains the group's Billboard Hot 100 top 10 and R&B #1 hit "Rumors," as well as the follow-up R&B hits "Thinkin' About Ya'" and "Mixed Up World."

Girolamo Frescobaldi is one of the most extraordinary figures in the history of music for harpsichord and organ, and had an enormous influence on other composers up until Bach. His brilliant toccatas reveal an inner world that fascinates today's listener. Frescobaldi's inspiration was born at the court of Ferrara and reached maturity in Rome, where the composer found himself among the major artists of the time who were actively creating a new artistic language. The 7-CD box set includes the four collections by Frescobaldi which, due to their exceptional innovative strength, have left the greatest mark on the history of music for the keyboard.

This is a collection of three other roio's; A69, BoT72 and WTtM (see Xref). It sounds like this one is copyied from those three mentioned (from The Swingin' Pig label) as they have no tape hiss at all. Only drawback is that the high notes are slightly wobbeling from time to time, thus making it a little less good than the ones from TSP. But then, it was close to half the price asked for the three seperate ones. Timing on cover is slightly incorrect, but it's only a couple of seconds +/-, except for those noted in track list. Set 1: Has some tracks that not often shows up on roio's, like 'Biding My Time' (PF doing Jazz) which is a great tune. A lot of very nice improvisations between the songs. Gilmour's voice isn't at the best during this show, which is very evident on 'The Narrow Way' where he is completly out of tune and can't reach the high notes. Set 2: A great 'early' performance of DSotM. It have's the 'On The Run' jam, 'Time' is the slow version and TGGItS has the preachers tapes. 'Time' and 'Us And Them' is cut down, and Eclipse is faded out a little early. Set 3: Again a great performance, from 2 July 77 in New York. Rick Wrigth does a fantastic job on this show, he has some very good synth and piano solos at respectively WTtM and WYWH. -TOR

The 11 works Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) created for piano trio make up a group of pieces equally remarkable as his 16 string quartets. With over half of them written before 1800, prior to the composer's turning 30, they clearly reveal his creative flights and struggles, first and foremost serving to attest to the grand formation of Beethoven's compositional principles and the attainment of his apex. The present 4-CD album features the Suk Trio, who soon after their establishment in 1951 gained international renown and recognition. The recordings of Beethoven's piano trios for Japan's Nippon Columbia, completed within a short timeframe, from June 1983 to April 1984, were made by the mature ensemble when it included the violinist Josef Suk, the cellist Josef Chuchro and the pianist Josef Hála, who in 1980 had replaced Jan Panenka.

Crash is the fifth studio album by English singer-songwriter Charli XCX, released on 18 March 2022. It is her last album to be released under her current record contract with Atlantic Records. Charli announced the album title, release date, and artwork on 4 November 2021. Her website was also updated with information about the album's 2022 tour. The album was preceded by the four singles "Good Ones", "New Shapes" featuring Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek, "Beg for You" featuring Rina Sawayama, "Baby" and two promotional singles, "Every Rule" and "Used to Know Me". Whereas Charli's prior work was known for its experimental, hyperpop production, Crash features a more conventional dance pop sound. Songs from the album include elements of pop music of the '80s and '90s, and Charli has cited Janet Jackson, among others, as a musical influence for the album. Upon release, the album received generally positive reviews from music critics.
