The history of this album is as follows: In the mid-'80s, Enya recorded the soundtrack for a BBC television documentary called The Celts. The music was released on BBC Records in the U.K. in December 1986 under the title Enya. It was released initially in the U.S. on Atlantic Records in 1986. In November 1992, WEA Records in the U.K. issued a revised version of the album under the title The Celts, containing a newly rerecorded track, "Portrait (Out Of The Blue)."

We Three, recorded in a single session on November 14, 1958, was the first American studio date as a bandleader for the diminutive and legendary jazz drummer Roy Haynes, although with pianist Phineas Newborn on board (along with bassist Paul Chambers), it really is a set dominated by Newborn, whose busy, two-handed technique here works in tandem balance with Haynes' cool refinement. Newborn was all about amazing and dazzling piano runs that on some dates created simply too much flash and clutter to allow pieces to flow and breathe properly, but Haynes has always been about grace and flow throughout his career (if a drummer's style can said to be elegant, Haynes fits the bill), and here he rubs off on Newborn, who exercises just enough restraint to keep him in the proper orbit, resulting in a fine album…

3CD/3DVD Anniversary Collection Expands The Group’s 1980 Album With Steven Wilson’s Newly Remixed Version Of The Original, Plus Unreleased Studio And Live Recordings, And A Remixed Version Of The Slipstream Video Collection. After completing its acclaimed folk-rock trilogy in 1979, Jethro Tull returned a year later with A, an album that introduced a different sound and a new line-up. Originally intended as a solo record by the band’s founder Ian Anderson, the album’s single-letter title refers to the studio tapes, which were marked “A” for Anderson. When the album was finished, the group’s label Chrysalis insisted that it be credited to Jethro Tull, even though only two members from the band’s previous incarnation were featured: Anderson and guitarist Martin Barre. Despite that, the album and subsequent tour were well-received by fans around the world. To mark the album’s anniversary, Rhino will release A: THE 40th ANNIVERSARY EDITION. This new 3CD/3DVD set will be available on April 16.
