On October 13th, Round Records will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Cats Under The Stars with a pair of 180gram vinyl reissues of the classic album. Both editions are now available for pre-order here. Recorded and mixed in 1977 at the Grateful Dead’s Club Front, Cats Under The Stars represents Garcia’s 4th solo studio record and the only studio record presented as the Jerry Garcia Band. Garcia enlisted John Kahn, Ron Tutt as well as Keith & Donna Godchaux for the recordings with contributions from Merl Saunders and Maria Muldaur, among others. The album’s iconic cover art was created by Stanley Mouse who drew his inspiration from Egyptian iconography while the Grateful Dead were planning their landmark performances at the Great Pyramids of Giza.

Recorded live 1990. In celebration of the album's 30th anniversary, this 5xLP set is pressed on 180g vinyl housed in a textured paper, foil-stamped box and available in a limited edition of 10,000 copies.

We’re returning to the fertile grounds of Northern California for the next installment in the GarciaLive series. GarciaLive Volume 17: NorCal ’76 will present highlights from three* stand-out Jerry Garcia Band performances captured over the span of a week — November 7th at the Keystone in Berkeley; November 12th at the University of California, Davis; and November 13th at Humboldt State University in Arcata.

Garcia Live Volume 16 is a three-CD album by the Jerry Garcia Band. It contains the complete concert recorded on November 15, 1991 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. It is scheduled to be released on June 25, 2021. This show was the Jerry Garcia Band's first appearance at Madison Square Garden. It featured their 1986 to 1993 lineup of Jerry Garcia on guitar and vocals, Melvin Seals on keyboards, John Kahn on bass, David Kemper on drums, and Jaclyn LaBranch and Gloria Jones on backing vocals.
