Anne-Sophie Mutter performs all of Mozart's mature Violin Sonatas in these films from Munich's Gasteig concert hall. UMG will remaster, expand and reissue the six albums the group cut between 1980 and 1991 for the Chrysalis and EMI labels. Each album is sourced from new DSD masters from original U.S. analog tapes, transferred in 24-bit high definition and feature CD-sized reprints of the original inner LP sleeves and Japanese obi strips. (The outer jackets have been replicated as well, with 1982's Picture This utilizing an alternate design released in Japan at the time.) There's 44 bonus tracks among the reissues, from tracks that appeared on previous expanded editions and international pressings to versions making their debuts on CD for the first time. (Sports, the group's 1983 breakthrough, becomes a 2CD set in honor of its 40th anniversary!) Also coming is a CD/DVD Greatest Hits: Japanese Singles Collection that will include 19 of the group's singles released during this time in Japan plus a DVD of 23 rare and commercially unreleased promo videos.
