Over the course of a career that began more than a quarter of a century ago, Boney James' sound has evolved into one that fused instrumental and vocal R&B with jazz improvisation, making him an artist who has popular acclaim through multiple top selling albums and critical success of multiple Grammy nominations. His 2015 record "Futuresoul" was suited for that intimate evening, while "Honestly" provides the soundtrack for that drive to the spot, cuts for the dance floor, conversation and yes that private moment for two. Sounds like Boney James was trying to create a little something for everybody, and he pulls it off.

German trombonist Albert Mangelsdorff was a major innovator who has had an influence on jazz instrumentalists worldwide. His use of multiphonics, which utilizes vocalizing into the horn to produce chords and overtone effects, was ground-breaking. This 1973 album presented his newest group, with German saxophone great Heinz Sauer the one remaining member from Albert’s legendary 1960’s quartet. Saxophonist Gerd Dudek, lauded for his play with the likes of Manfred Schoof, Lester Bowie, and Joachim Kuhn, joins the front line. Buschi Niedergall was one of the most sought-after bassists on the avant-garde scene, and drummer Peter Giger is known best for his renowned group Family of Percussion.

In this deluxe edition, In Good Company is accompanied by a bonus disc of recordings from their early years together – including a live recording from the Sydney Opera House, and the first-ever release on CD of ‘Essa Cara’, a Brazilian tune written by Don and recorded live in 1982.

"Under the Red Cloud" is the twelfth studio album by Finnish masters of Melancholic Metal, Amorphis, released worldwide through Nuclear Blast. Cryptic Rock reviewed the album, finding that it had more of a focus on melody than the previous album, and it had a wider variety of instruments, which was more in line with the band's pre-2012 work. "The Four Wise Ones" was described as an "instant classic" song, "pure melodic death metal at its finest." Cryptic Rock also saw songs that were heavy metal, folk metal and rock ballads.

Two track single released on digital services to promote the 20th anniversary releases of How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. Both songs are taken from the 10-track disc of demos, titled How to Re-Assemble an Atomic Bomb. The single is a double A-side with both songs included in the single title. Unlike the commercial single, the promotional single issued the day of launch was “Picture of You (X+W)” and promotional releases contained just the single song.

Modest Mussorgsky’s operatic output is dominated by the epic Boris Godunov and Khovanshchina, but of his notable unfinished works Sorochintsï Fair is the most prominent example. Based on a story by Gogol, this is a comic opera in which amorous encounters intermingle with a devil’s curse. This chamber orchestra version by Fabrice Bollon uses only original music by Mussorgsky unlike other completions. Potentially a compelling and original drama, Salammbô was Mussorgsky’s first attempt at an opera, praised by Rimsky-Korsakov for the ‘beauty of its themes and ideas’.

Paul Wranitzky, Mozart’s masonic brother, was a favourite composer of the Viennese court for which he wrote exclusive compositions. Wranitzky was a characterful composer with a masterful sense of orchestration, but his sudden death in 1808 saw his legacy overshadowed by his contemporaries Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven. The composer’s mature Symphony in C major is a fine example of his abilities, and the finale of the Symphony in D major bursts into life in fine Janissary style, complete with triangle, cymbals and Turkish drum

The fourth volume in this series explores a pivotal decade in Claudio Santoro’s compositions. In the 1950s he moved from serialism towards nationalism starting with the transitional, reflective Canto de Amor e Paz (‘Song of Love and Peace’) and continuing with Symphony No. 4 which proved to be one of his most accessible and influential works.

Franz Liszt's Weihnachtsbaum ('Christmas Tree') is an all-embracing impression of Christmas that includes traditional carols alongside childhood and adult views of the season. The dark chromaticism of Die Trauergondel II is a tribute to Wagner, contrasting with the brighter range and yearning lyrical lines of the Wiegenlied. Many of these works remained unpublished in Liszt's lifetime, and are genuine rarities even today.

Double album featuring live performances by The Beatles, recorded in late December 1962 at the Star-Club during their final Hamburg residency. The performances were recorded on a home tape machine using a single microphone - resulting in a low fidelity recording. Ted "Kingsize" Taylor began to investigate possible marketing of the tapes in 1973. The tapes were eventually bought by Paul Murphy and subjected to extensive audio processing to improve the sound, leading to the 1977 album.
The album provides historic insight into the group's club act in the period after Ringo Starr joined but before the emergence of Beatlemania. The Beatles were unsuccessful in legally blocking the initial release of the album; the recordings were reissued in many forms until 1998, when The Beatles were awarded full rights to the performances.

Sakari Oramo is among the best known and most heavily recorded Finnish conductors on the international scene. In 2003, he was elevated to principal conductor of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra (FRSO), where he remained until 2012. This release for Japanese Exton label includes Johannes Brahms' second & Ludwig van Beethoven's fifth symphonies.

Asahina Takashi (朝比奈 隆) was a Japanese conductor. He founded the Kansai Symphonic Orchestra (today the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra) in 1947 and remained its chief conductor until his death in Kobe. For some, Takashi Asahina was "the Karajan of Japan"; for others, his eminence was derived at least in part from his being the oldest conductor on the international scene; for others yet, he was quite simply an excellent musician, with a special sympathy for the classics of the Austro-German repertoire.
