The band around Samu Haber inspire their fans with an exclusive orchestra show, which was completely sold out. Countless requests followed, whether the band would not play more orchestra shows. In March 2016 it was finally time: Sunrise Avenue went on tour with the Wonderland Orchestra. This unique recording was created.

Kishi Bashi’s Emigrant EP is a lush bluegrass-inspired album referencing the brutal history and harsh climate of the American West. Arranged and recorded over the last year, Emigrant serves as a time capsule of the 2020 condition as it meditates on the anxieties of the COVID-19 pandemic, the comforts of nature, the pains of resource-fueled conflicts, and the resiliency that emerges from struggle. In grappling with history and stepping into personal identity, Kishi Bashi’s Emigrant is steeped in the past while it looks to the future.

The first e.p from 65daysofstatic’s Wreckage Systems project is out now. Written and recorded across various states of lockdown, Under the Summs is the distressed sounds of noise smuggled across borders via ftp servers. It is amplified distance, urgency coaxed from life on pause. The future without future. Under the Summs is the beginning of a new arc of music from 65days. If the Wreckage Systems stream is the infinite, endless soundtrack to now (and it is), then these accompanying releases that we cut out of it are the disjunctions. The breaks in the transmission. Anchors, too heavy to be dragged away into the fog of digital ephemerality.

Along with Vivaldi’s ‘Seasons’ or Beethoven’s ‘Fifth’, Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos belong to those works that are so well-known that we risk taking them for granted. In order to (re-)discover the special qualities that can inspire us today, in 2001 Thomas Dausgaard and the Swedish Chamber Orchestra decided to contact six contemporary composer, asking each of them to compose a companion piece to one of the concertos.

Kuwabara was born on September 21, 1991, the youngest of three girls. Older sisters Yu and Mako are also musical, and it was Mako who introduced Ai to her current musical partner Yusuke Morita, who was her classmate at the Tokyo College of Music.Kuwabara graduated from the Music Department at Senzoku Gakuen High School as a jazz piano major in 2010. She studied piano under Yuki Arimasa, Yoko Yamashita, and Kazune Zaima. She has won many awards including gold medals at the All-Japan Yamaha Electone Contest,[4] for both the lower elementary division and the upper elementary division. She has performed at the UNICEF Charity Concert and International Junior Original Concert. She was featured in AERA magazine as a “Genius Electone Girl.” In the middle of junior high school, she switched to playing the piano.She is 5ft 7in.
