A turbulent time for Michael, following his exit from UFO via Scorpions. Featuring the studio albums Michael Schenker Group, MSG, Assault Attack, Built to Destroy (both UK and US versions) as well as a disc of Demos & Alternative Versions featuring the entire 1979 demo tape, rare monitor mixes and single versions and a disc of completely unreleased material, with early studio takes and rough monitor mixes.

HIGH WHEEL's history begins in late-80's ,when Wolfgang Hierl and Erich Kogler set themselves apart from the thrash metal scene and their band ''The Hammers'',searching for more melodic and refined musical paths. Their new project would never become true,if they hadn't met excellent drummer Uli Jenne and after a few rehearsals they decided to form officially a new progressive rock act. With the addition of Andreas Lobinger on keyboards their debut ''1910'' came out in 1993 as a private press,recorded at Tonstudio Rixner near Tegernnsee.

BIG SHOT was formed in the early 1990’s under the name of the Deryle Hughes Band. The original members were Deryle Hughes on vocals, David Mikeal on keyboards and guitar, Paul Drennan on bass, Angelo Janotti on guitar and Tommy Scott on drums. The group immediately started performing higher profile live dates. Unfortunately, Tommy left the group early on and Sean Shannon took over on the drums.

MelodicRock Classics deliver another forgotten classic from Canada – GNP’s 1989 album ‘Safety Zone’. The band featured former Saga members Jim Gilmour (Keyboards) and Steve Negus (Drums), looking for a more straightforward AOR direction on this, the only album GNP recorded. Saga are of course one of Canada’s most loved prog-rock groups. GNP was formed together with vocalist Robert Bevan in 1986, but it wasn’t until 3 years later the album was released.

Covered, A Revolution in Sound is a tribute album produced and released by Warner Bros. Records to commemorate its 50th anniversary as a record label. The album consists of some of the greatest hits from previous and current artists from the late 20th century, while the songs featured on the album themselves are performed by current artists that are signed to Warner Bros. Records. Warner's sister label Elektra Records had done something similar to this nearly 20 years before with an album titled Rubáiyát: Elektra's 40th Anniversary, which featured then-current Elektra artists covering other songs originally released on Elektra or sister label Asylum Records.

Eclipse are one of the very few bands who managed to bring their 80’s influenced slab of Melodic Hard Rock to the masses. Merzy was considered by some to be Denmark’s answer to Whitesnake. The band played a version of blues-rock not native to Odense or the Danish shores. The band was from the city of Odense, Denmark and formed in1987 and during its tenure appeared on Danish TV and appeared at the Midtfyns Festivallen and Roskilde Festivallen festivals.

Robben Ford's "The Blues Collection", is a sampling of blues recordings featuring the remarkable guitarist stretching from 1971-72, through 1982-84 and finally 1991-92. Included are four instrumental tracks - "Excuse My Blues", "Blue Stu", "The Cotton Creeper", and "Pretty Woman", the last of which was recorded live at the Notodden Blues Festival. Harp fans will be thrilled to hear brother Mark Ford blowing on six ot the cuts, and Charles Musselwhite on three others. Four of the tracks are previously unreleased ("Excuse My Blues", "The Cotton Creeper", "Take Out Some Insurance" and "Help The Poor") and the Jimmy Witherspoon track "Going Down Slow" was also recorded live at the Notodden Blues Festival. Robben Ford is without a doubt one of the most creative and honest men to play, write and arrange in the blues idiom. He feels it as well as understands it. He is Robben Ford, and there is none better.

Just when you thought you'd heard everything. Here we have an album of guitar-driven alt-rock from Montreal electro-pop ensemble Men Without Hats. Apparently, the Hats' lead singer/songwriter Ivan Doroschuk had taken to hanging out with Montreal scenesters like the Doughboys, who encouraged him to pursue his predilection for loud guitars. He had made a brief foray in this direction in 1985, but record company disinterest in the idea had pushed him back to electro-pop. Now that grungy guitars and alternative rock were all the rage, the idea seemed more viable to all concerned.

Rhythm of Youth is the debut studio album by Canadian new wave and synth-pop band Men Without Hats, released in April 1982 by Statik Records in Europe and Canada and in 1983 by Backstreet Records in the US. It propelled them to fame with its second single, "The Safety Dance". It was released under the Statik Records label in Canada, distributed by Warner Music Canada (then called WEA Canada) where it achieved Platinum status for sales of 100,000 units.
