AURORA - out now, we've been working on this album for two years and we're so happy to finally share it with you! Some of the songs have been featured on the live gig, others are brand new acquaintances even for the most well-informed listeners.

Otis Taylor is one of the few musicians in the world who bring depth and honesty to the topics of his songs and the passion of his voice and playing. He grew up in Denver, CO, but was born in Chicago in 1948. He is a multi-instrumentalist whose talents include the guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica and vocals. He was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in 2019.

Some Like It Hot is a 1959 film starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon about a group of rogue musicians on the adventure path. It is funny, sexy, rambunctious and evergreen – a showcase of a triple-threat cast at full-throttle. Some Like It Hot is also the new album, out October 17th 2025 via Matador Records, by London three-piece bar italia. Certain parallels are perhaps not accidental. It pulses with romance, intrigue, self-discovery and rapture over lustful rockers, spellbinding folk pop, punch-drunk ballads and undefinable moments that sneak up on you like a burst of 5pm sunshine. The record is the culmination of the joint inner world of Nina Cristante, Jezmi Tarik Fehmi and Sam Fenton – three singer-songwriters who have transcended their underground roots to embrace a bold, widescreen horizon.

In his first recording for HR Recordings, Bulgarian lutenist Yavor Genov brings us The English Orpheus: Yavor Genov plays John Dowland, a full program with music by the “English Orpheus” as he was called at the time, John Dowland.

With the publication „The Loudest Sky“ For the first time, selected electronic compositions by the Argentinian composer Bernardo Mario Kuczer (1955–2023) will be made available to the public. Highlights from his legendary tape cycle Civilización o Barbarie (1984) as well as previously unpublished digital sound worlds from his last creative years.

The long-awaited first volume consists of five ordres (Couperin uses the word ordre rather than suite, implying a suite) and includes a large, double-page decorative table at the end. While this may seem small considering the four volumes and 27 ordres (27 = 3 cubed, which some say is related to Freemasonry), the total number of pieces exceeds 70, surpassing the other volumes in terms of the number of pieces contained in a single ordre (particularly the first and second ordres). With the exception of the fourth ordre, the first half is typically a French suite, with dance pieces filling the gap, and the second half is dominated by titled pieces, many of which are based on dances.

On their self-titled debut, Boye's Café Orchestra serves up a warm, inviting blend of acoustic folk and rustic chamber music.

Old Hundredth: The 'Glentanar' Organ at Temple Church is a new album by organist Charles Andrews, released on October 17, 2025, on the Idiom Records label.

This year he would have turned 70 years old: Glenn Frey. As the co-founder of the legendary West Coast band Eagles, the Detroit, Michigan-born singer has been zealously writing music history since the early 1970s.

The Apartments present their eighth album, That’s What the Music Is For, made in close collaboration with producer Tim Kevin. Recorded gradually between performances across Mexico City, Sydney, San Francisco, Lisbon, and Marseilles, the songs were built piece by piece in the studio whenever the chance arose. Out of this slow accumulation came an album that traces how past and present constantly exchange places, and how those we’ve lost continue to move through our lives in memory and in song. Peter Milton Walsh describes the record as “a world of smoke, gin, and regrets; of melancholy, brass, and strings. Life as it comes to us, with its share of joy and sorrow.” These compositions carry both intimacy and scale, refinement and rawness, telling stories that stay with the listener long after they end. Walsh is joined by Tim Kevin, Nick Kennedy, Adrian Workman, Natasha Penot, Jeff Crawley, Neysa May Barnett, Pauline Drand, and Xavier Guéant-Mata, whose contributions enrich the luminous atmosphere of the album.

Power to the People tells Lennon and Ono's journey from December 1969 through August 1972, including a remixed version of the 1972 album, Some Time in New York City, and the One to One Concerts from the same year.

Simon S. Furnes is a guitarist and composer from Alversund, north of Bergen (Norway). In the spring of 2025 he completed his master's degree in rhythmic performing music at the University of Agder, Faculty of Fine Arts.
