"Crosses" is the eponymous debut by the band of Chino Moreno (vocalist of Deftones), Shaun Lopez (guitarist of Far), and Chuck Doom. A highly anticipated release, Crosses musical style has been described as electronic, but incorporating imagery from genres such as witch house.

Live at Jazz Fest Saalfelden 2011 marks the third iteration of the quintet led by the powerful Norwegian bassist and composer Ingebrigt Håker Flaten. In fact, this time out the quintet has actually become a sextet with the addition of the acclaimed vibraphonist Jason Adasiewicz. As the album title says, the music was cut live at the prestigious International Jazzfestival Saalfelden in Austria in August of 2011, a concert that marked the first-ever performance by this particular line-up.

Ingebrigt has established himself as one of the strongest voices on bass in jazz and improvised music on the international circuit today. His work with his own projects, as well as with The Thing, Atomic, Free Fall, Scorch, and in duo formats with Joe McPhee, Evan Parker and Håkon Kornstad have put him at the center of a large pool of improvisers with strikingly different modes of operation.
