This book presents and describes an innovative method to simulate the growth of natural fractural networks in different geological environments, based on their geological history and fundamental geomechanical principles.

This book highlights the state-of-the-art research and discovery in the use of MOFs in catalysis, highlighting the scope to which these novel materials have been incorporated by the community. It provides an exceptional insight into the strategies for the synthesis and functionalization of MOFs, their use as CO2 and chemical warfare agents capture, their role in bio-catalysis and applications in photocatalysis, asymmetric catalysis, nano-catalysis, etc. This book will also emphasize the challenges with previous signs of progress and way for further research, details relating to the current pioneering technology, and future perspectives with a multidisciplinary approach.

This new textbook uses a problem-based learning (PBL) approach for teaching the fundamentals of kinesiology and biomechanics to undergraduate and graduate students in the biomedical, rehabilitative, and exercise science fields. Case vignettes and problems for each major region of the body are presented – cervical spine, thoracic spine and rib cage, lumbar spine and pelvis, shoulder girdle, elbow/forearm, wrist, hand, hip, knee, and ankle/foot. For the cases on the spine and upper extremity, biomechanics of posture are included; for cases involving the hip, knee, and ankle/foot, an extensive study of gait analysis is also incorporated. These case vignettes are not preceded by chapters that provide foundational information. Rather, relevant anatomical, biomechanical, and other information needed to solve/explain each case are embedded in the relevant chapters presenting the clinical cases.

The book, “Intelligent Computing - Proceedings of the 2022 Computing Conference”, is a comprehensive collection of chapters focusing on the core areas of computing and their further applications in the real world.
Each chapter is a paper presented at the Computing Conference 2022 held on July 14–15, 2022. Computing 2022 attracted a total of 498 submissions which underwent a double-blind peer-review process. Of those 498 submissions, 179 submissions have been selected to be included in this book.
