Sheriff Scott and the Deputies are writing the laws of modern acoustic music. Scott Simontacchi - singer-songwriter, photographer, hat-maker - paints a picture with words. Jokingly brandishing a badge on a pick-up gig on Sunday afternoon at Nashville's infamous Browns Diner dubbed the term, 'Sheriff Scott.' Since that day in 2013 the band plays on.
Sheriff Scott and the Deputies celebrate the release of their second album, "New Old Songs" in April 2019. Their newest single, 'Blind Love,' and first self-titled release is currently available on all digital mediums.

From a 3-year weekly residency at a local Nashville brewery to festivals across the world, Sheriff Scott and the Deputies provide a listening experience that taps into the endless possibilites of string music when it puts the songs - and the soul - first.
