Another beautiful album was made by German singer Hannah Köpf. Intimate lyrics, sublime arrangements and an excellent band (drummer Tim Dudek, violinist Joon Laukamp, pianist Mike Roelofs, guitarist Bastian Ruppert and bassists Jakob Kuehnemann and Torsten Haas) made the Flowerm session a beautiful set, which in the USA is called the broad term "americana". It is a specific blend of original American ballads and incorporating sounds of folk, country, jazz, gospel and bluegrass music. With her warm, clear voice, Cologne-born singer and songwriter Hannah Köpf tells beautiful stories. The arrangements are multi-layered and the delight for timeless sounds taken directly from the music of Jackson Browne, Steely Dan, Judee Sill or Rickie Lee Jones is particularly clear on "Flowmind".

"This is my most personal and profound album yet," says Hannah Köpf . In " Lavender Fields, "I reflect on forgiveness and the healing power of memory, while in" Where the Ocean Sleeps, " I talk about the inner strength to keep hope in spite of everything. The title tracks "Flowermind" and "Stand Alone with You" address the pressing problems of our time: the climate crisis, fascism, social interaction. "Lighthearted Love" - which captivates with the virtuosic solos of Mike Roelofs and Bastian Ruppert - tells the story of how long love stays fresh and light, and shared memories form an invisible bond. Even the folk version of Paul Simon's "Diamonds On the Soles of Her Shoes" offers a personal tribute by Hannah Köpf, who sheds new light on the popular hit making it a beautiful, folk conversation of guitars and violins.
