Description

This course is made up of my three drawing classes in drawing portraits including: Understanding The Layout of the Face, Sketching Eyes, Noses and Mouths and The Final Portrait, a class that takes you through drawing and shading a portrait from start to finish. If you are new to drawing or if you are still struggling with how to get your faces to look more realistic, these three classes together will take your drawing to the next level. Each class takes you through real time drawing so you can draw along with me and learn through practice as I discuss what I’m doing and why I’m doing it. You will learn:How to break down the structure of the face to find the correct proportions for a portraitHow to draw realistic looking features of the face  - the eyes, nose and lips. The steps for taking a drawing from a starting plan to a fully formed portraitThis is not a character drawing or animation course, instead the focus is on fundamental drawing and seeing techniques which if practiced, will improve not only your portraits but your overall drawing skills. I'd suggest taking these three classes over 3-4 weeks: Complete the exercise in the first class and then spend some time practicing to cement what you've learnt before moving on to the next class.Portraits are one of the hardest things to master. But this series of classes will teach you tips, tricks and practical methods for drawing portraits to give you the confidence to start drawing portraits on your own.
